October 7-11, 2001 (Prague, Czech Republic) - In the 10^th International Anti-Corruption Conference Atty. Jose Luis Syquia represented Procurement Watch Inc. where he presented the use of e-technology by NGOs to monitor public procurement.

September 27, 2001 (DOLE Head Office, Manila) - In conjunction with Procurement Watch Inc.'s (PWI) Memorandum of Agreement with the Department of Labor and Employment (DOLE), PWI conducted a Training Seminar for DOLE and its attached agencies Bids and Awards Committee members on rules and regulations governing rules and regulations governing goods, supplies and civil works projects.
