NACPA is based on two frameworks: the UN Convention Against Corruption and the Medium Term Philippine Development Plan section on Anti-Corruption. The objectives of NACPA are: to serve as an avenue for effective consultation; to streamline and strengthen stakeholder collaboration on anti-corruption commitments; to install a performance measurement system for anti-corruption efforts; and to conduct social marketing. Its key result areas (KRAs) are: improved legislation; corruption prosecution and prevention; and anti-corruption education/social marketing. The KRAs are proposed to be achieved through coordinated partnerships, clear and accountable performance targets, and regular monitoring of anti-corruption performance.
